Life is filled with Goodbye's and Hello's.

Life can be filled with happiness...
..but also have small episodes of sadness.
These past few months have been filled with
tears: both good and bad ones.

Early morning on the 18th of June,
our Beloved Zuckoo entered the Kingdom in Heaven.

We all remembered when he came to our home.
His first visit to the Vet was not filled with good news.
Zuckoo was born with a heart murmur and accelerated heartbeat.
The vet expected him to live six months.
Little did we know, He lived to be over six YEARS old.

Our hearts were deeply saddened with his departure,
but extremely grateful for having known such a wonderful soul.
Yes, he is a dog, but to each of us he was a son. brother and friend.

Our beloved Zuckoo, our faithful friend,
and your love you shared till the very end.
For 6 years our family was blessed,
now it's time for you to rest.
You still live on in the hearts and minds,
of the loving family you left behind.

we love you.

After Zuckoo's departure, tears of joy came into the picture.
On Tuesday, July 31st 2012,
Maria and Ernie were sealed for time and eternity
at the Chicago, Illinois temple.

That's right!
There is a brand new member in the family.
Their wedding reception was on the 27th of July.
Congratulations to you both.
May God bless them forever.
Here are a few images from the night.

And now, another sad note.
On Tuesday July 31st,
our beloved Grandfather
Luis Castellanos
joined the angels in Heaven.

His body remains here to lay waste
with the rest of the earthly world,
but his beautiful soul continues forward
to wait for his children and marvelous wife

He was an extraordinary husband, father and grandfather.
Respected by many, and loved by all.

Papa Guicho,
May God be with you, til we meet again.

We must continue to live life accordingly
and treasure the moments we do have.

''Life isn't measured on the amount of breathes you take,
but  on the moments that take your breathe away.''
