Has it really been that long?

SOMEONE has been lagging on their duties to update the family blog.
No fingers shall be pointed of course.

The Castellanos Family has grown quite a bit
since the last time anything was ever written on here.
In February 2013, Guillermo and Suzy were sealed in the Oakland, California temple.

They are currently residing in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Guillermo is working at Associated Bank in Aurora,IL.
Suzy continues to work for Nordstrom,
and both are happy with where life has been taking them.
They are currently taking some vacation time in Florida.
DisneyWorld and Universal Studios were both in their agendas.

Luis graduated with from the community college with an Associates
and is currently preparing his transfer papers for BYUI and BYU.

Fingers crossed and we wish him luck in all that he does.
He's currently employed by Aztec, and is working hard on his degree.
Both Guillermo and Luis have become addicted to one thing.
You ready for this?

That's right,
They're addicted to
PAINTBALLING.
Apparently it's amusing to be shot with balls flying over 100 mph.

Maria and Ernesto completed a year of marriage on the 31st of July.
Maria is in the process of setting up her DayCare center,
and Ernesto continues working at Aztec.
They have a little dog, who is a little energetic rascal.

I'm currently home working on her internship for graduation.
I am working with Dr. ParreƱo and getting ready for medical school applications.
I will be going back to BYUI in September of this year.

Betzy and Jorge have continued working on making JC Computing grow.
It's amazing how much business they've had.
It's truly a blessing and they make a wonderful team.
My mom handles the advertising and customer service,
while my dad handles the work itself.
They're both currently in California living it up.

Not much to report on the family, but that is a basic summary of what is going on.
We are all still very close and even though our busy schedules keep us apart,
we still manage to keep in contact through text and get togethers.

It's Turkey Lurkey Time.

Today marks the last day of the month of November.
And we all know November means
Pumpkin Pie.
Boots.
Sweaters.
Fall Weather.
and most importantly...
The Thanksgiving Holiday.

We each have our own individual lists of blessings.
But I think we can all agree that we are thankful
for the opportunity to gather around the table as the family that we are.

Being under the same roof at the same time
can be quite the mission.

We each have our own busy schedules.
What with work and our own personal lives.
It's a miracle we even talk to each other!

Maria no longer lives with us
[ Apparently the Kids table at Family Reunions was outdated ]
She's creating her own family,
but our connection with her remains intact.

Guillermo will be getting married next year,
which means he's on the family track as well.
[ 85 days until his wedding day with Suzy ]

Luis is trying hard to balance
work, school, and his Church Calling duties.
He's really getting involved with service activities
and trying to get the young men involved
and motivated within the church.

I, on the other hand,
am working full time still and attending classes online.
I leave for Idaho come January,
and basically working hard to finish up my Bachelor's degree.
Planning on taking the MCAT come next Fall.

Mom and Dad
are working and keeping busy with their own duties.
They're enjoying their calling as YSA leaders in the Gurnee III ward.
It's given them the ability to strengthen their own personal testimonies
and help others seek to acquire their own.

Well,
Here are a few pictures from us.
